    The Cambridge–Oxford Corridor Constructing Excellence Club is pleased to invite members and guests to attend an exclusive industry networking breakfast, bringing together professionals from across the construction and built environment sector.

    This informal event provides an excellent opportunity to connect with peers, share knowledge, and discuss current and emerging trends affecting the construction market across the Cambridge–Oxford Corridor and the wider “Golden Triangle” region.

    The session is intentionally designed to be relaxed and conversational, with no formal presentations or speeches. Attendees are encouraged to engage freely, build new relationships, and gain insight into opportunities and challenges within the regional construction industry.

    COCCEC invites you to attend an evening of darts, food and networking on

    27th October 2026 from 5:30pm

    at

    Boom Battle Bar, 36 St Andrew's St, Cambridge, CB2 3AR

    5:30pm - 6:00pm – Arrive & welcome drink

    6:00pm – 8:00pm – Axe Throwing, Darts & Food

    Join us for a night of axe throwing, darts and networking at Boom Battle Bar on St Andrew's Street, Cambridge. The event will start at 5:30pm before we split into groups with the axe throwing & darts beginning at 6:00 for two hours. Each person will also be provided with 2 drinks during the course of the evening. During the evening food platters will be brought out for everyone to share, this will be a selection of casual street food served buffet style. The buffet is a 50/50 split for meat eaters and veggies/vegans. Any further dietary requirements must be included on the registration form. If this is not completed it will be assumed that there is no dietary requirements.  

    Event Attendance Information

    Members' guests and non-members are very welcome to attend. Please note that attendance is limited to 2 people per company. This can be either:

    • 2 members of the same company, or

    • 1 member and 1 guest.

    Cost of Attendance:

    • Members: £25 per person

    • Guests and Non-members: £45 per person

    This fee includes two drinks, darts, axe throwing, and food.

    Please note: Any additional beverages, food, or services ordered beyond the included provisions must be paid for by attendees on the day at the time of ordering, and will not be covered by COCCEC.

    Important Registration Details:

    • Your place is only confirmed once payment is received.

    • If more than 2 individuals from the same company register, we will contact the company to confirm which registrations should be removed.

    • If members wish to bring additional attendees, these can be added to a waitlist. Should space become available, waitlisted registrations will be confirmed two weeks prior to the event.

    COCCEC will invoice non-members, and invoices must be settled, before the event.

    The event will have a limited number of spaces available and early booking is required. PLEASE INCLUDE ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS ON THE REGISTRATION FORM, IF THIS IS NOT COMPLETED IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT YOU HAVE NO DIETARY REQUIREMENTS.

    • Please use the roundabout on the A1307 to access the campus via the Main Entrance, not through Babraham village.
    • Babraham Research Campus is a closed site, so you will be asked to provide your name and the event you are attending at the security gate on arrival.

    Once on campus follow the main route until you see a building on your right with 3 flags in front of it, turn right then car park is on your right. Entrance to the building through the main sliding doors.
