Nick Day is a member of the Institute of Roofing and has worked in the roofing industry for over 30 years. For the past 6 years he has worked for "Optigreen". Nick is actively involved with the Green Roof Organisation and has sat on several technical committees developing green roof products.
Nick's presentation, "Green Roofs in Practice", is approved by the RIBA, and covers pitched and specialist green roofs, vegetation and planting methods, maintenance and aftercare and the environmental benefits of green roofs, and much more!

Chris Bridgman will talk about the challenges, rewards and misconceptions of building gardens in the sky.
Bridgman & Bridgman Living Roof Services are a team of award-winning horticulturalists and green roof specialists, delivering the green elements on flat, pitched and curved roofs. The team have installed living roofs from 2m2 to 16,000m2, laid the largest turf roof in Europe, and constructed the first fully removable green roof in the UK.
Refreshments, including a light breakfast, will be provided for all delegates from 8am. The seminar starts at 8.30am.
